Fish Thief
One dark and stormy night, a bedraggled miqo'te wandered into the Garden seeking warmth and food. The halls were quiet, the crackle of a fire and burble of aquarium filtration the only sounds to break the space. Drawn to the aquarium, Ennui helped himself to a tasty looking fish, using long claws to pluck it from the water. And what convenient fireplace! With his fish thusly stolen and cooked, Ennui proceeded to pass out on the floor, only to awaken to a rather angry Venue Owner. He was given two options: Pay off the cost of the fish in gil, or fish one up himself. Unable to fish effectively, the Miqo'te agreed to pay- and proceeded to ask for a job.
Thus, the dumb man began working at the Garden, content to please guests, pay his debt, and eat more fish.
